The chosen genre I am going to do is Horror. My reasons for this is because the genre horror is easy to identify in a opening two minutes of a film. Macro and micro features is easy to use for iconography. For example a knife is a perfect example of iconography for a movie trailer, the knife represents danger and a weapon. The chosen genre horror, I think is a good choice because many people the same age as me enjoys horror movies, I think horror openings are the most attention grabbing trailers because if involves, action, suspense, tension and sometimes an interesting hook and twist. This genre also gives me the chance to experiment with the sounds, lights and involves quite a bit of editing.
